Sexy Series 3 E Type V12 Manual Roadster in restored condition with all matching numbers. Recently traded in to us from a large collection and then gone through by our local Jaguar specialist. Running well and just waiting for a new owner and some better weather. Unfortunately, we don’t have any history of earlier owners or who or where the car was restored. However the car is available for inspection and test drive so prospective buyers can certainly make a better-informed decision than buying at auction.

Thanks to a longer, wider bodyshell, smaller steering wheel and power steering the Series 3 is more usable and has a better driving position than a Series 1 or 2. The Series 3 is a far more friendly car to jump into from a modern car and the Roadster is also a lot more accommodating in S3 form as it sits on the 2+2's Coupe platform.

Just 7990 Roadsters and 7297 coupes were built and 85% of production was exported, so it's safe to assume at least 75% of production was LHD. Most of the V12s have a 3 speed Borg Warner auto, but the Jaguar 4 speed manual is more sought after. A number of coupes have been converted to roadsters and LHD roadsters converted to RHD.

The Jaguar Heritage certificate for our 1973 Roadster confirms that it was built as a RHD manual and has all matching numbers. It has since been repainted in Silver and has a brand new soft top.
